Our annual Bronx Zoo tradition has upped the spook factor this year. Plan a trip to see what's new and enjoy yearly favorites. Come dressed in your Halloween best, or leave the costume home and show off your good looks. See you soon!

Event Highlights:

Haunted Forest:
We’ve ramped up the spook factor for our guests ages 12 and up. Journey into the Haunted Forest if you dare. You never know what’s lurking, crawling, or flying above!

Bootoberfest:
Grab seasonal fare or try a new beer at Bootoberfest. Enjoy the music and lawn games that complete the experience.

Halloween Hayride:
Take a turn on the hayride featuring scarecrows, bugs, snakes and spiders. Upon exit find your way through the corn maze and enjoy cider and seasonal treats

Spooktacular Nightwalk:
Visit some creepy, crawly animal guests and enjoy a pizza dinner. As the sun sets we will head out on a night walk in the zoo to see what happens when the gates close and the last of the visitors leave.

Nature Trek
We're hosting special seasonal fun at Nature Trek. Plan a visit and enjoy the day with our expert play partners.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show:
Enjoy live performances and meet some of your favorite Eric Carle characters from the off-Broadway hit show.

Magic Shows:
Catch one of our animal-inspired magic shows, sure to thrill and delight the entire family.

Extinct Animal Graveyard:
Stop by the eerie graveyard of animal species that are no longer with us

Costume Parade:
Show off your Halloween best, or enjoy the sight of costumed stilt walkers as we parade through the zoo.

Animal Treats
Hear from some of our expert keepers and watch as they demonstrate enrichments for animals. Bats, bears, reptiles and more Halloween favorites.

Pumpkin Carving:
Watch as our expert artists create giant animals out of pumpkins! Shout out your favorite species and see if they’ll give it a go.

Crafts:
Let your inner artist out while creating Halloween inspired crafts to take home

Bird Meet And Greet:
Mix and mingle with magpies, jays, vultures, owls and more. Don’t miss the chance to see some of your spooky favorites up close!

Mentalism Shows:
Our mentalist knows what you’re thinking! See if he can sense favorite places, special moments, and more

Candy Trail:
Trick or Treat! Pick up favorite seasonal Halloween candy, and discover some of our animal’s favorite treats.

WCS Quests:
Embark on Activity Trail, a Bronx Zoo Quest, around the zoo and see if you can keep up with our animal staff!
